Murasu Anjal2000 Upgrading to Murasu Anjal-Pro

Anjal2000-Lite, which is the FREE version of Anjal2000 provides you all the features you need to

• Browse Tamil web sites that uses Murasu Anjal fonts
• Build Tamil web sites using Murasu Anjal fonts on Netscape Composer, Front Page Express or Notepad
• Send and receive emails in Tamil with Outlook Express, Eudora and Netscape Messanger
• Compose simple Tamil documents with Murasu Editor or Windows Notepad

When you upgrade your installation of Anjal to Anjal2000-Pro, you can then

• Have more Murasu fonts, including one with Tamil and Indian symbols installed for high quality publications and build dazzling Tamil Web pages
• Compose Tamil in all Windows applications, including MS-Word, PowerPoint and other desktop and Internet applications.
• Develop Tamil content with the most sophisticated tools like FrontPage, Macromedia Director, Photoshop, Illustrator and many more
• Write applications for Windows with a Tamil interface
• Using these tools, create PDF documents in Tamil so that they can be distributed without the fonts to others who use Mac's or Unix machines
• Anything and everything that you have only been doing in English or other languages.

AnjalPro is a commercial product. However, you may try the features for 20 days before you decide to buy. Unlike previous versions of Anjal, you do not need a license key for the FREE trial.  You just need to do the following 2 steps :

1. Click on the Upgrade button in Anjal's main screen. <click here to view image>
2. Click on Start Trial.  <click here to view image>

Once you have done this, just quit and restart Anjal. (There is no Quit button in Anjal2000. Just use the 'x' on the top right corner of the Anjal window).  You can evaluate AnjalPro for 20 days after which Anjal will set itself back to Lite mode.

If you like to use AnjalPro without restrictions, you may purchase a license for a FULL upgrade.  You can do this in three simple steps:

1. Purchase a license for Anja2000-Pro
2. Request for a upgrade license key
3. Apply the license key and perform the upgrade

1. Purchasing a license

You may purchase a license on line at http://www.murasu.com/buy.  Note that the prices stated are in Singapore dollars with indicative US$ equivalants in brackets.  You may use a credit card or send us a cheque/draft.

Once you transaction goes through, you will get an acknowledgement over email with the transaction details and a transaction number.

2. Requesting for license key

A license key is a string of numbers and alphabets that are specific to your computer.  This key will be generated for you by the Murasu License Center once your order is successful.  To request for the license, do the following :

• Click on Upgrade button in Anjal2000
• Click on Req License button (if you do not see this button, click Start Trial first)
• Your name and other details should have been filled in. Just fill in the transaction reference (as above) and send the request. (If you had sent a cheque, fill in the cheque number instead).
• Murasu License Center will send you a license key to your email address.

3. Applying the license key

• Click on Upgrade button again
• Click on Full Upgrade
• Fill in your license key in the space provided (you may just cut and paste into the box)
• Click Upgrade (just before the Ok button)
• Quit and restart Anjal to be in FULL Pro mode.
